*UT Administration is making all efforts to Meet up the requirement of Essential Commodities: Saugat Biswas*

Nature has its own plan as the UT Administration was expecting and was trying hard with Border Road Organization to Open the NH 1D connecting Srinagar with Leh via Kargil, but snowfall after regular interval from 28th February 2021 has made the snow clearance work complicated.
This was stated by *Divisional Commissioner Ladakh Saugat Biswas during an exclusive interview with Bureau Cheif Ladakh Images Nasir Hussain Zaidi.*
Saugat Biswas further said that Team of BRO is on Job and soon the Highway will be open for traffic which will ease out the difficulties of the people and administration.
Answering to a question on the shortage of Essential commodities like Dates, Vegetables Milk etc particularly in view of the Holy Month of Ramdhan, He said that 18 tones of essential commodities were airlifted to Ladakh and has been distributed among the people of Kargil and Leh already and the next consignment of Dates, Vegetables and other essential commodities is expected to land tomorrow which will be gain distributed among Leh and Kargil.
Saugat Biswas urged upon the people of Ladakh to cooperate with the administration as they did last year to contain the spread of Covid 19, keeping in view the prevailing Covid condition of the country and the new wave.
