Commodities Trade Higher – Markets Pulse Ahead of FED Meeting – US Markets Open 27.4.21

Here is whats happening in the markets today:

Yesterday we saw Tesla reporting good EPS but the Revenue forecast disappointed…sending Tesla share price down 2% on concerns about the underlying profitability of its car making business…. But hey …. When u make over 101 M profit on BTC ….who cares about anything else ….?!

– Other companies due to report early include Amgen, Texas Instruments, Eli Lilly, General Electric and 3M, while…… Starbucks , Visa and A M D are set to report after the closing bell.

– The Federal Reserve kicks off a two-day meeting which is expected to result in no change to policy but may produce a change in the Fed’s guidance, as signs of a recovery become clearer. Also the interest rate decision will be announced tomorrow afternoon and traders will be looking for any hints from the FED Chairman J. Powell ahead of the data release.

– Palladium, Copper, Soybeans, Corn and Wheat all gained considerably highlighting again the importance of soft commodities on the global markets

– BTC trades close to $55.000 today, correcting almost 50% after the sharp drop over the weekend
